Dr. Emma, PharmD, is the visionary behind The Gem Box and GemRx, brands rooted in the belief that true healing begins with the alignment of the mind, body, and soul. A proud first-generation college graduate and mother of two, Dr. Emm earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy after years of balancing motherhood, rigorous academics, and personal transformation.
Her journey into healthcare was shaped not only by science, but by lived experience. Before pursuing pharmacy, Dr. Emm worked in the entertainment and modeling industry, where she experienced firsthand the pressures of perfection, burnout, and the emotional toll of constantly pouring into others while neglecting herself. During her academic journey, she faced intense stress that manifested physically and emotionally through anxiety, depression, adult acne, exhaustion, and chronic health concerns. Those experiences ultimately became the catalyst for a deeper calling: understanding the human body, restoring balance, and helping others heal from the inside out.
Through her doctoral pharmacy training, Dr. Emm developed a passion for bridging evidence-based medicine with holistic wellness. She believes that healing is not one-dimensional and that true wellness requires caring for mental clarity, emotional peace, physical vitality, and spiritual well-being together. Her mission is centered on helping others feel empowered, educated, and whole.
